blessing day

I did some pictures in Emma's blessing dress, I am glad I did it before her blessing because I doubt her dress would fit after. She has gotten chubby in the last few weeks, but I LOVE it :)!!

This ring was wore by my husband when he got blessed and also my son when he got blessed. I love incorporating old things into new traditions.

so glad I had my camera

Yesterday was one of those "I am glad I had my camera with me" days. I went to do a shoot in SLC and it happened to be right next to the capitol, so the hubby and I decided to go check it out. It happened to be the perfect day to go because it was a Friday and nobody was there :) Here are a few of my favorites, it was kind of nice to just do architecture type pictures...which is one of my favorite things :)

this is the Gold room (I think) I LOVE the way these 2 turned out!!! I am usually not a purple person, but quickly fell for this room.

I was so excited to do this family's pictures this last weekend, it's always fun to relatives pictures {he's the hubby's uncle}! Plus BONUS I found a new location...that I LOVE and will definately use again, saw 50 million dogs that I wanted to take home, and had the coolest background music {a guy playing the bagpipes} while doing the shoot...only in Salt Lake {well, probably not. but it doesn't happen every day...at least to me}
